Once in an arid land
A bird threw a seed alone
Searching some rare humid
It grew with a green tone
[Click to listen a musical version]
The arid never seen any green
Envied its leaves and flowers
With jealing eyes and dry tongues
Conspired its deadly end
The green alone in the arid
Felt sad for lack of life
Hoped god for a rainy rain
And birth of green and grain
Aspires did differ, ways did counter
Causes of fierce battle
Which at some time in the past
Had killed the green and led arid avast
Green did know the fact
Couldn’t succeed over arid violence
Arid did boast its power
Of past, present and the future
Weeping with its dry tears
Green did curse its luck
Watching its sullen face
Arid did luck its curse
Under the shine of demon success
The arid couldn’t watch its girth
Where with passage of time
Roots of green did reach the earth
It got water, it got power
Enlarging branches hour by hour
With shine of god in the sky
Green did get flowers and flowers
Arid did burn with envy
Ordered wind for a Help!
The wind did come with a blow
And a high pride of itself!
Flowers did fall on ground
But also on other flowers
Some of them grew to fruit
Under the strength of deep root
Wind did get a scold
Ran with its full blow
Rain did chase its speed
Arid got wet in a flow
Fruits did fall and grew new lives
To call the bird under its leaves
To have its fruits and feel its soul
To green the arid with a goal
A bird threw a seed alone
Searching some rare humid
